Oil leak

I have oil dripping between oil pan and cluck housing rear main seal????. Do you need to drop transmission I heard it might be a 2 piece seal where you could only drop oil pan any info Thanks

if its a 4.2 or 4.0, everything i have read says its a two piece rear main seal

My '78 AMC 360 has a two piece seal as well

Yes its two piece seal. On the amc v8,s you can just drop the pan to do it. On the amc 6cyl I beleive you have to undo one motor mount and jack put one side of the motor to get the pan off. I use a very small punch to start the old one to come out.
