Can anyone tell me why my oil pressure gauge max's out when i turn the key on???? Is it my oil sending unit? If it is, where is my oil sending unit, should i just run a direct line to a new pressure gauge????? Please help this bothers me. It keeps me wondering if im gonna blow up!!!!!

gauge wiring is ground faulted somewhere, probably near the sending unit

It is a Jeep thing. One of the real short comings of a Jeep is the gauges. I hate em. If and when I build the dream jeep the gauges will all be after market. The fule gauge will be a stick! heheeh tug

lol tug...i think a stick would work better than my fuel gauge too....seriously if you have ever taken the dash out youll see why the gauges dont work half the time...nothing but a cardboard circuit board back there...lol

Hey west your jeep is sick as hell! I would like to hear some of your mods. Are you going to run a slip yoke eliminator for the rear driveshaft? As far as oil pressure guage goes, mine is pretty wacky too, it is always jumping around, I try not to look at it haha.
