I just replaced my radiotor fluid and i drained the old completely, i put the whole new bottle in "all of it" and the rest water....did i use to much fluid?
And also my temp is going up to 210 pretty quick...is that normal or hot. 86 xj 2.8 L 4 4

If anything, I would say you well might have used too much water... A good 50/50 mix is pretty much the standard, give or take a few percent.

210 is normal operating temperature, roughly, for Jeep, the thermostat opens and begins the cooling process at 195 degrees... That's with the straight six anyway, if 210 is the number in the middle of your gauge, I would not be overly concerned, it's when it goes into the red and you hear bubbling and hissing when the engine finally dies in Flint because the alternator and radiator are totally FULL of thick mud that you've got some problems... :D

So when you guys say 50 /50 mixture what do you meen take half antifreeze half water?

Don't mix colors. If it already has pink, stick with pink. If it has green, stick with green. There some out there that work with either colors...and the big brand name one's do work.

I personally would flush it out REALLY good if it has pink coolant in it and swap over to green...but that's just me personally.

Pink/orange is supposed to last longer and be more stable and all that foolishness...

The problem with mixing pink and green is that they don't like each other very much, and tend to turn to slime, eventually thickening like apple jelly. Apple jelly does not circulate through your cooling system very well at all, we discovered this interesting little Mr. Wizard bit of information with my brother's old car, when I got a "Sean, my car stopped running" call one evening...

interesting... is there a price difference between the colors?

The extended life or orange/pink coolant is usually about 30% higher that the standard "green" antifreeze. The "yellow" "global" coolant is higher than the "green" and will mix with the green OR the orange/pink but the the orange/pink still should never be mixed with the green.

I am replacing all of my coolants over to the global/yellow coolant just to keep things simpler. It is still worth it to buy some distilled drinking water from the grocery store and mix it yourself. They do sell the 50/50 premix in all colors but it is really not a good choice if your counting pennies.

You should try and not use tap water due to the minerals in water will deposit in your system and cause trouble, us the gallons of distilled drinking water for about 50 cents per gallon.

Make sure the air was bled from the system. If you are in a warm climate, I would use more water than antifreeze as I have been told that water does a better job of keeping the engine cool. I struggled with cooling problems on my 95 4.0 until recently when I replaced all the hoses, and did a very thorough bleed of the system, now it is rock steady at about 190*
