post 1997 cherokee fender flares

Has anyone managed to put the pre 1997 Bushwacker fender flares on a 1998 or later Cherokee? I would prefer to keep the stock bumper for now. Or has anyone found good post 1997 flares from someone else?
Any input would be appreciated.

i have a set on my 97 cherokee and love them... much better than the bushwacker design.

The Bushwhackers will fit on the newer XJ's. It's been done quite a bit. You need to be careful when cutting the drivers side front because of the windshield washer fluid reservior.
