Hello, I have a 1999 JGC and when I lock my doors my left rear door makes an aweful screetching sound when it locks. When I unlock my doors the hatch makes the same noise. Someone told me it could be the solenoid. Any ideas? Thanks for your help. :-? [addsig]
that sounds mechanical, not electrical. If I were you, I would take off the door molding and look inside. It's pretty simple, and you may just find that the lock is obstructed.[addsig]
