OK, I was laughing my butt off that those people who stood in line all night for a chance to buy a PS3 for $600....now who is laughing?

Do a search on Ebay for PS3 systems!!!!
Now I know why most of them stood in line all night. Most are selling for around $2000.00

I would have gladly stood in line for a $1400 profit....

The people in my mind now who are outa their gourd are the ones buying them from the guys on Ebay:lol:

I believe there is a cheaper on available with a smaller memory, but still those prices are ridiculous.

I thought I heard on the radio today that they were taking them off ebay? If so, that would be a very questionable thing to do... on one hand it'll stop people from price gouging, on the other it seems to go against free enterprise.

I know one thing... my kids aren't getting a PS3 for Christmas :lol:

Ebay put restrictions on who could list them. It was smart for them to do so.
In order to list one, you have to have had a minmum feedback rating of I think around 60 with at least a 95% positive, again I'm not sure on the exact wording.
That was to keep some jackarse in Nigeria from sitting there uploading a picture of one and selling it to some poor fellow on a fraud deal.

yep. Didn't people learn from XBOX 360? In about a month or so you will be able to pick it up at any store for retail cost. Its teh I want it now mentality taht causes this. Another thing these tards don't think about is the problems encountered are always within the first few months or so. Wait till the bugs are fixed. Thats what happened with XBOX 360 First ones weren't even able to play some of the games designed for it. Now Now Now, Mommy please. It would be great if everyone looking to buy from EBAy didn't, but waited. All those damn greedy people on EBAY who bought 2 or 3 systems. Around here some of the stores just went and handed tickets to the first number of people in line waiting to get the system. Everyone else was told to go home. Smartest way to do it to avoid the shootings, and riots.

PS3 is going for no less then 1000 dollars but the highest bid from last I saw/heard was 15,100 for one... One went off today for 9000 dollars, now with that much money I could put a nice lift with really nice tires, and some other stuff on my jeep...

I imagine the prices will go up even higher the closer we get to Christmas

I think we've seen the peak on Ebay of about $3000.00 drop down to the firgures you listed. I doubt we'll see them go higher. I suspect more units will hit the streets before Christmas.

Stay tuned, all these people are going to be ****ED when they get it home and it won't play their old games. There is also a problem with it getting very very hot and locking up after a couple hours of play. They are paying over $1000 for crap.
