pulsating idle

I have a 93 xj 4.0 with a pulsating idle at start up. This is a new issue as I just changed out the fuel pump and all related hoses. The idle goes from about 900 rpm to 1100 at start up. Seems I spend more time under the hood than I do driving. The rig run fine lots of pep no power loss. If any of you have had this problem could you advise me as to the possible cause and perhaps a cure. Thanks Doug.

Clean your TB and IAC.
Check the connections to the IAC and TPS.
Check for vacuum leaks.
Once it warms up what rpm do you idle at?
