Quick top ?

I have a 89 YJ I have put it the "family" roll bar from a 94. I want a soft top I really like the Bowless tops, but they are for tjs and newer. So, why wont the tj top work on a YJ? The roll cages look the same.

Windshields channel and tops of doors are different.

The idea of a top that doesn't require all the crappy bows is very appealing to me,as well!have not heard much about these tops,but if I can ever eliminate the hassles of the bows and such,it will be a great day!

Only down fall i see from losing the bows is a little less head room and how much weight will it hold with out the bows.
