Hi, all! My first post here, and I usually spend sone time getting to know the 'neighborhood' before I ask for help, but I've come up with a situation tonight that I would appreciate advise on.
I have a 1997 Grand Cherokee Laredo with fuel injection. Sometime last nighe, someone siphoned all my gas out, which I didn't notice until I stalled a couple of miles out of my driveway. My motor club called a tow truck, the gentleman put 2 gallons in my Jeep... wouldn't start. As it was on a bit of a slant, and getting very cold, he just towed it home for me... still wouldn't start.
My background: Did all my own work on early VW's, including full rebuilds & rewire (lavender & baby blue wiring - very pretty 1960 bus), so I can read a manual and twist a wrench. Minor work on my 1984 Cherokee Pioneer - power steering unit, clutch master cylinder, some electrical. I've never worked on this Jeep, and know nothing about fuel injection, except that its a big no-no to run out of gas.
Any advise/pointers? Thanks in advance
