Rear end noise

I posted a few days ago about the rear end popping and screeching noises when turning and taking off from a stop sign or light. I was also told it may be the spider gears or clutches in the differential. I was reading about the dana 35 and they have the clutches that supposedly need the special additive to help out with the limited slip? I'm not even sure what rear end is under my jeep.. It's a 97 sahara. I was told some of these sahara's in 97 were given the option to have a dana 44. How do I know exactly what I have. And what is the additive called that I need to be putting in the rearend? thanks
