Running rough

the only code was a/c clutch--i don't have a/c--somebody told me that was what they thought the problem was--so i tried it--thanks for your help
 

Use a long screwdriver or prybar to listen to each cylinder and to each injector. Place one end on what you want to listen to and the other end to your ear. This is a pretty reliable way to track down a miss.

I had a miss on my '95 2.5L I couldn't find, and it turned out to be a bad crank position sensor (CPS).
 
also check the TPS... Mine acted up once, and it was a bad connection here. You will also want to check the ignition (rotor and cap would be a good place to start).
