wanted to know if any one has used the Rubicon express S.Y.E.. the cut and tap. been doing resurch for pros and cons. seems easy enough. any ideas????

It's not bad, just can be weak since it still uses the stock output. I've seen a couple of stock output shafts break, but I've also seen many more not break. I've done one with a buddy, just drop the drive shaft and put the transmission in reverse. hold the cut off wheel square to the shaft, turn it on, and let it eat. Easy as pie.

I run one, no complaints. After getting the CV flange to run a shortened front CV driveshaft, it's not much cheaper than the HD SYE offered by PORC, $185 shipped.

the kit is 85.00 from R.Express. what are some other places to find one less expensive??????

thanks for the help

That's about the cheapest going, but you'll need a $60 CV flange to bolt a standard CV driveshaft to the H&T. I use shortened front TJ/XJ driveshafts.
