I went ahead and bought an 89 yj for parts today and it has some real nice stuff and some real bad rust anyway it seems to have 2in. lift springs and skyjacker shocks, I dont know if it had skidplate spacers sice the transmission was held in with a strap only thing left of the skid is where the transmissionmount was so tell me what ya think put the springs on without a slip yoke or buy a slip yoke elimnator with the extended drive shaft. also I have parts galor let me know if anyone needs anthing before I send whats left of the frame and tub to the junk yard on monday and I will set it aside its a complete jeep except for drive line which is going in mine, the tub is paper thin and the frame looks like swiss cheese but the fenders hood and dash look decent

Hello,

What color are the dash pieces? I am looking for tan. Also, where are you located? I might be interested in the hood.

Thanks,
Todd

Did you get a title with it? You might want to think about cutting that whole plate off where the VIN tag attaches and holding on to it and the title if you got one. Might become useful to you in the future. Just an idea though, I wouldn't want to incourage any shady conduct

It's a felony in this state to possess a VIN tag not attached to a vehicle. It's meant to help curb the stolen parts trade, and is similar from state to state. FYI.

You don't need a SYE or TC drop with 2" springs, usually fine until you get higher than 2.5" on a YJ.
