I have a 91 yj 2.5 with 31s and manual steering. Is there any way to tighten the steering up with out buying a new steering box?

yep...... first of all check the steering box mounting bracket.... if they are not tightened down real good your box will move around when you steer and that will cause alot of the problem. You may want to replace your tie rod and drag link. that can help too. If that fails, you need a new steering box.[addsig]

There is an allen head set screw on the steering box that will tighten up sloppy steering. Be careful, because it can be overdone.[addsig]
