Snorkels

I have a few questions about snorkels.
I'm looking at some TnT tube fenders and I would have to get rid of the stock airbox. So, would a snorkel do away with the airbox? Also, what kind of body modification is required to add a snorkel on a TJ?

I've found out the answers to my quandary. I decided if I want the T&T fenders I will just relocate the stock airbox.

Hmmm....sounds familiar. Didn't somebody on here already do that? And instead of running the intake to the windshield frame outside, they used zip ties to hold it to the roll bar right behind the passenger seat. :lol:

well since u guys are snorkle talking.....In my opinion safaris are WAY to expensive but i havent found a functional and cost effective home made snorkle install. If anybody has a good write up on a snorkle install that doesnt look extremely bad it be great to see. (Iam running a motorcraft carb on my 89 yj)
