we just had the rotors turned and now have a soft pedal. We bled the brakes and still the same. It goes down farther than it should and feels spongy. The brake are working but not as solid as they should. How do i tell if it is the master cylinder or the booster? Appreciate any suggestions.

Welcome to Jeepz.com.
In my experience a spongy pedal that goes down to far is an indication of air in the brake lines. Pretty easy to get if you're bleeding the brakes, but luckily it's easy to fix too.

I use something like this when bleeding my brakes, it makes life much easier:
Amazon.com: 636 Distributing, Inc 990073 Brake Bleeder: Automotive
You just slip the hose over the bleeder screw, open the screw, and press the pedal. It's essentially a one way check valve that will prevent air and fluid from going back into your brake system.

As a heads up, you can get quality Centric rotors from RockAuto for $25 each brand new. I would do that over having them turned, assuming it's all the same price
