The conductors of current HEI wires are heavier & the insulation too is thicker and heavier.
When I buy wires, I think of being about 40 miles off highway, fording a deep stream.
I buy the best wires I can afford. And as I install them, one at a time of course, put DIE ELECTRIC grease on the metal connections on each end of each wire for water & corrosion proofing.
AAA does not respond to off road service calls
Also keep a couple of your old wires for emergency trail replacements
