Speedometer Cable

I'm having trouble figuring out where on the transfer case the speedometer cable needs to be hooked up. If anyone could help me I'd appreciate it. (1972 CJ5)

It needs to be zip tied to the frame. :lol: At least thats where mine is, I'll look at a few of my manuals and crawl under the Jeep :-D and see if I can help you out by tommorrow.[addsig]

It's near the rear output of the transfer case on newer jeeps, not sure on your old CJ :-? [addsig]

Is it not connected now? If not, why? There is only ONE place the speedo cable can connect to on the transmission. You may have to drop the skid plate to find the conenction point. On my T-18 the speedo conenction is on the left side.
