stock mirror removal

I have a 2006 Wrangler Rubicon LJ and I would like to remove the stock mirror from the stock bracket that attaches it to the stock door. Does anyone know how this is done? I know you do not just remove the bolt and pull on it. Mine does not have a bolt on it at all. When you look in the bottom of the mirror,there is nothing there.

You remove the 3 torx bolts that attach it to the hinge... the mirror itself doesn't come apart like earlier years.

you would be correct. the mirror can not be removed from the stock bracket, I asked a jeep dealer.
