Storing TJ Soft Top

Put the hard top on today, is it better to remove the sail panel windows from the soft top when storing for the winter? Top will be resting on wall mount brackets for the winter

i hang my softopper. each piece separated by a paper or light cloth so the plastic windows don't stick to each other

The windows scratch pretty easy, so I keep a piece of paper between them (the paper that came with my replacement top).

Absolutely! roll the windows all together with Washed terry cloth towels between them wit a towel on the bottom then the rear window ten towel then a side, towel other side and roll so the plastic only touches towel. and wrap a cord around the ends and the middle. This will prevent kinking glazing or scratching. mine are 7 years old and look like they are only 2 and are constantly in and out and are always handled in this manner, and are simply tossed behind the rear seat when the top comes down or they just come out for air in the summer...
Btw its cheaper than buying a window storage unit that does the exact same thing
