i was wondering about the valve cover vent hose that goes to the t-body can i reroute that can i just put a breather filter on the end of it. it is puting oil in the intake and t-body.thanks for any help.

No don't replace the CCV with a breather!, The connection to the intake creates a low vacuum that keeps the pressure in the valve train.

Depending on how old your rig is. On some of the older jeeps there isn't much of a problem. You just have to make sure that the carb end is plugged and you might have to readjust the carb On the newer ones with computer control, It might be different.

What year and model you talking about?

If it's a '91+ with the CCV system, it's likely the CCV (closed crankcase ventilation) system is running in reverse due to a broken or clogged vacuum line. Give some vehicle info and I'll give you some trouble shooting tips.
