Temp gauge / instrument cluster

The problem with 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee is the temp gauge is not working , I changed the sending unit but the gauge is still not working , Im thinking I may have a problem in the instrument cluster because the speedometer goes haywire sometimes also . Can you repair a instrument cluster , or maybe send it somewhere for a rebuild , or do I need to find a used one ? I have taken it out but did not see any burnt spots or corroded terminals . Whats the best way to handle this problem

Have you checked the Fuses. (Under the Dash) Associated with the Gauges? Also, a DMM (multimeter) would be handy to check out you wiring. Do you have Continuity (short) Between Sending Unit and Temp. Gauge? Hard to believe that all Gauges --- would give you Problems at the Same time. Fuses and wiring--check? JB
