Testing a CPS - Need help fast

I have made a previous post regarding my jeep (1994 6 cylinder) stalling for NO reason while running. Many people suggested it was the CPS. I removed my CPS today and used a multimeter to test it. The Haynes manual says that for 93 and later Jeeps the CPS is tested by using a multimeter connected between the "B" and "C" terminals. OK, I went to do that but the terminals are not marked. The Haynes manual says the terminals should marked.....they are not. Does this mean the CPS I have is an aftermarket??? If not, which terminals are B & C. I am looking at the plug end with the tab on top that the clip attaches to. On the plug, the wires go Orange, Black/Blue, and Black/Gray. Regardless, I am going to assume the orange is NOT B or C.

With that in mind I tested the blue and gray wires. I found that the circuit was "open" (No Continuity) with the multimeter probes attached one way but it reads closed when I swich the probes. Open means the switch IS GOOD! If I am not mistaken, the reading should be the same regardless of which way the probes are connected. Does this mean the switch is bad???

Any help here is welcome......Oh yea, the manual says the meter should read NO CONTINUITY (open) if the switch is good.

THANK YOU for any help!!!!!![addsig]

we seem to have the same problem. No spark from coil but coil tested ok with multitester. Cannot seem to find which terminals are used in testing the CPS sensor or what readings we are suposed to get. Although 200 ohms +/- 75 ohms seem to be mentioned. Any comments would be appreciated. The dealer wants $300 dollars to replace the CPS on my 93 4.0 liter. That seems really steep.null[addsig]
