i'm clueless on this tfi hei stuff which is better and which should i get, and if either can i still use MSD? i've got one on the way fill me in!

What kind of jeep, you ussally can't go wrong with a hei set up.

what is hei? just a new distributor or sumthin? and can msd be used? what does dui cost and i'm not talking about driving under influence LOL

DUI is an aftermarket HEI system made for the AMC, and several other makes. Where a factory HEI system puts out a good 40,000 volts and might be stable to 5,000 rpm, the DUI comes with a 50,000 volt coil and a high performance module. No other components are required. I think they run a little over $300. It's my personal choice for the I6.

You could go with a billet dist. and ignition box from MSD, and have a better quality setup from some perspectives.....but it's more expensive, more complex, and not really needed in this application.
