Transmission concerns

So I managed to blow my ax-5 manual transmission. I have a 2.5 liter engine that I want to later swap to a larger gm 6 cylinder. So basically I want to know if there's a conversion kit to bolt up my 2.5 to the upgraded ax-15 so I will have a better transmission down the road when I'm looking into the swap.

If there's any big unexpected problems that I might encounter some advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also somewhere I can get good refurbished transmissions in Florida could be helpful too

You can source a used ax5 at Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market . Look at the 2.5L Dodge Dakota for an ax15 that will bolt up.

You will have to change the input shaft on your T-Case the spline count is different between the AX5 and the AX15.
you can use the NV3550 transmission as well.
