Transmission problem

my girlfriend just go a 94 zj. its got the 318 with auto transmission and its all-time 4x4. but the problem is that when it park it will roll on a slight incline. i know these dodge transmissions are junk. but i was just wondering if it could be fixed without dropping the transmission. if i have to it will get a new transmission.

Transmission isn't the problem. The transfer case is a NP249 and has a vicious coupling (prob spelled that wrong). It's basically a diff inside the case that splits torque front to rear and they wear out. It's a VERY common problem with the AWD units.
