Lost Jeepers and Southside Jeepers have partnered up to host a United Four Wheel Drive Associations 4WD Awareness Program at Leesville Road Auto in Evington, VA on Saturday, June 26th. It will go from 9AM - 6PM.
Dave Logan ( www.4wdschool.com/ ) will be the instructor, his fulltime job is training folks on how to wheel safely. He has taught all the regional Forestry Department heads for the Forest Service via UFWDA. He also teachs for the US Military and has just returned from 6 weeks in Kuwait teaching the folks that work the Chevron oilfields how to wheel safely in the desert.
This will be a great experiance for both the newbie and the seasoned wheeler too. 1/2 day classroom, and 1/2 day outside demonstrations. It is $35 per person and is limited to 30 participants. You need to bring your lunch, drinks, and a chair. It is first come, first serve. So reply to this post as soon as possible if you'd like to come, as we only have 8 spots left. Certificates will be given to those that attend.
Some of the SSJ folks will be camping out behind the shop on Friday and Saturday nights if you'd like to join them.
