visors

Does anybody know if screws or bolts attach the visors on an 89 Wrangler? What size are they?

I believe that it's two torx bolts on each side. Don't know the size though.

IIRC, they were the smaller sizes; could be T20 or so...

Thanks, I already used #8 phillips screws that were 3/4 inches long. By the way, I cleaned my old visors and painted them with vinyl paint and they look brand new.

Hate torx. I replaced EVERY bolt on the car with hex head.

I'm with you. I usually use stainless steel hex bolts where I can get away with it.

Mine are all stainless too. For the doors and other places that used flatheads, I bought conical washers that center the bolt in the hole and they all worked out fine. And the hex heads make the Jeep look more rugged >)
