warn fender flare restore

So I have the extended flares from warn for my tj which have uv damage and are stained with mothers back to black formula I hate the look of them. Can anyone help will sanding them down and spraying them damage them further? Or should I just take them to a shop any advice would be appreciated.

Try Krylon Fusion. The only thing I’m not sure about is what residue is left on the flares from the past. Some compounds have silicone in them and paint hates to stick to silicon.
