We're back finally

So it's been a rough two days here.
Wednesday afternoon the server that runs Jeepz.com was rebooted, and never came back. There were thousands of errors on the hard drive that the error checker is still trying to fix as I type this (it's not likely that it will succeed in fixing all the errors)

Seeing the writing on the wall, I purchased a new server, and uploaded a backup that I keep at my house. The upside is that we're up and running now, the downside is that we've lost the last 5 days of posts.

JPNinPA - I'm not really sure - I've never actually seen it. It was a true server in a datacenter in North Carolina. Now it's a server in a datacenter in Texas.

I just logged into the old server, and it's still trying to figure itself out. I'm glad that I pulled the trigger and restored from backup, even though we lost 5 days worth of posts. If I hadn't we'd still be down with no end in sight.
