Beats the heck out of the "hard top" look, no matter what color it is. I think it looks great!!! 'Course I'm biased - ragtopper all the way.

Seriously, I love the faded paint. Black flares would be cool, though. No flares might be cool, too.

Black would be better IMHO.The gray looks ok.If you still plan on painting the flares maybe make them gray to match the top now instead of black.

I like the grey, but i too think the black would look better. BUT it just depends on what you are actually gonna do with the paint. I, myself like to go topless!
