RE: Which axle is the best?
I have an 03 TJ w/ 3" BDS w/ 33" tires. It has the BDS shocks that came with it and a BDS stabilizer.
It seems like I can feel every bump while driving down the highway and that every bump I hit on the high way causes the steering wheel to go back and forth.
I have approx. 20,000 miles (mostly pavement) since I installed my lift. Could my shocks and stabilizer be worn out already?
I did the "push down on the bumper" test and it bounces more than once. I know with a car that such a result means your shocks are toast; is it the same with Jeeps.
If that is the case, what should I replace them with. I was looking at Rancho 5000's pretty hard. The cheapest I've seen is $38 a piece. I know Sears carries them, but do you know if they can order extended shocks?
Is EMU worth the extra $$$? Any other recommendations?
Thanks alot!!
