What Transmission do I have?

I have a buddy w/ a 00 TJ, 6cyl, automatic transmission. 2nd gear is going bad, we were wondering what type of transmission this is. We were also wondering, is this a decent transmission? Or would it be cost effective to swap it out w/ something else? If so, what would be a good swap?

It should be a 30/32Rh paired with an NV231 t.case in your jeep right now. 03 models changed to a 42RLE paired with a NV231 or NV241 option T.case.
