wheel bearings

Removing wheel, brakes and axle nut. Then it's 3 12 point bolts on the back side. Sometimes they can be a bear to get out due to rust. I leave the 12 point bolts in but just barely and turn the wheel, it pushes the bearing a little and loosenes it. I may be skipping something simple but it isn't all that hard just time consuming.

A day before you do it, spray wd40 (pbblaster in your place?) on those bolts, it should help.
If I remember correctly, the size of those bolts is 1/2".
axle nut = 36mm
remove the axle nut before removing the brakes, so someone would be able to help you by holding the brakes down while you try to open that nut.
Saar.
