Wheel well splash forum

Hey guys, I recently trimmed my fenders and am wondering if it's necessary to put the splash guard back on in the wheel well. I trimmed them up to put them back on but they don't seem to fit as well.

I am not sure what part you are talking about but personally I would try and get all pieces back in for wheel well. Pics would be helpful.

I'm guessing you mean Under with the tire. Yes you want all that so mud and water doesn't get stuck on and rot your tub from under.

I trimmed the fenders on my YJ and installed TJ flares. The plastic inner wheel well liners would no longer fit. I just left them out and sprayed the wheel wells with undercoating.
