Will a 2" lift clear 33"s on a YJ?

Can I clear 33x12.50s on a YJ with a 2 inch suspension lift?

I'm a pretty relaxed driver but am I going to see any real performance difference coming from 31s?

Before yall get mad, I swear I used the search bar.

If you plan on going off road you'll need at least a 3" lift. I'd go with 4". You will notice a slight loss of power due to the size increase of the tires effectively raising your gear ratio.

Not really. I'm thinking off roading that will cause your suspension to flex and stuff those 33's into your fender wells.

I concur. 33's will not stay clear of the fender well with a 2" lift. You will find yourself rubbing at some point, regardless of the trail difficulty level.

I also agree that a 2" lift is not appropriate for most any offloading. You are gonna drag. If you're going to install one might as well get a 4" and be done with it. You'll look sweet and be able to clear obstacles on the trails

I have a 4.5" lift with 33" mtr's and I rub the fender flares when offroading all of the time. Even when I take them off eventually, i will prob have to trim at least the rear fenders.
