What is the best XJ 3" suspension lift? Ive been looking at the Rusty's 3" lift with rear add a leafs, and a Rancho 3" lift wil rear add a leafs? They come with everything else i need. But the Rancho comes with a new lower control arm. Do i need a new one for a 3" lift or not? Need some help!

The number one thing i would look at for the kits and you'll have to ccall about this one my friend has a 90 xj which he lifted 3 inches and his problem is that the addaleafs were short like 22 inchs i think which caused his springs to eventually turn into a m or w take your pick either way you need to check the length the longer the better i would recommend rancho but rusty is pretty good and the deals are great

my buddy got the 3" full spring kit from rustys and he's real happy with it. after looking at it i went ahead and got the 4.5" full spring kit from rustys for my xj. the kits are well made. go with the new spring packs though, add a leafs will cost you more later when your old springs fail.

the first question you need to ask is how bad is your rear spring pack. if it is newer then the add a leaf will work fine and save you a lot of money. Make sure it is a full size add a leaf. Rancho, Skyjacker and BDS all use a full add a leaf. We use a lot of the BDS suspensions at our shop and sell them for about $400.00 and it is the most complete kit on the market. If you spring is border line it is up to you. The rear spring pack runs about $350.00 so you need to look at how long you plan on having the truck, and how much offroading you do. Good Luck
