i have a 95 wrangler, 2.5L, 5spd with 30 inch tires. i have just gotten it and the guy put new tires on it and i dont want to get ride of them yet because they are new. i am going to be getting a lift kit for it but i am debating if i want a 2 1/2 or 3 inch suspension. Later on i would like to put bigger tires on it so i would put a 2 inch body lift on it.***Would 30 inch tires look stupid with a 3 inch suspension lift?** i do offroad once in awhile when i can afford parts, but mostly i drive it on the streets so i am going for the look and i dont want my tires to look to small. :-?

31's would look fine with 2.5 or 3 inch lift! Welcome to the board! tug[addsig]

My friend put 31 inch tires on his stock 95,the only problem with his set up is the tires rub on the fenders when he hits speed bumps,or someone heavy is in the back.I think the 2 or 3 inch lift would look great. And also, welcome to jeepz.com. Sully[addsig]

I put my lift on a couple weeks ago (skyjacker 4" , 1/2 daystar lift shackles and 1 inch body lift) And still running my 235-75-15 tires and it doesn't look that bad. A little funny yes, but not too bad. My tires (Kumho MT/R's) were only a year old with lots of tread so why waste my money!

Plus gives me time to save up more money for some 33" BFG's MT's and New 4.56:1 and lockers! (already have the rims)

I know I really didn't increase my ground clearence, but approach and departure angles are better!!

Johnny,

Let's see a picture of that lifted jeep. I have the $ to lift mine, but still saving for something bigger than my 30's. I'd like to see what your's looks like so I can have an idea of what a 4" lift on small tires looks like. Thanks!
