My side-panel window on my softtop has a zipper problem. The damn thing is jammed good and I cant do anything so far. What do you guys suggest?
Im thinking of taking the entire top off this weekend or soon so I can lie it on the ground and get to it easily.

I'm pretty sure you can take it to a sewing shop and they can sew a new one on for you. I may be wrong, but I know they do it for clothing, so why not soft tops?

After you free it up, I've heard folks say they've used regular old bar soap to lube them.

I've never done it, but I have heard to take it to a marine shop that repairs boat tops.

I had mine repaired at an upholstery shop. They got the zipper back together (kept seperating behind the puller) and filled it full of black RTV silicone. It's no longer useable, but it doesn't leak air either

yep, i took mine to a marine stitchery and they got it done with beefy zippers
