i am trying to figure out if i can run the radiator temp. switch,probe thing from a hayden fan controller as the ground side switch for a relay direct to the electric fan, my adjustable fan controller recently spent some time underwater and had some trouble with the sealed up side of things, now it no worky! water sucks almost as much as gravity! the question is whether it is a switch or a sending unit. if it is a switch i should be able to throw away the variable controller and use the relay on its own...right..........maybe.......i hope! thanks for your input.
