i thought the 207 came in the 87 only. it was a bad year i have an 88 sahara and it has a 231 in it. i'm sure. also had that 904 trany in it . thats about all i know for sure.

i know of 4 older cj's sitting in the junk yard with good manual transmission's in them what could they be? ax15? or something good? how can i tell? and will they swap into my 88 yj without an adapter plate? i would like to get rid of the auto and put in the stick. i have the 258 with a 904...

ok well if i can get my money back i still have one problem, this jeep is my daily driver!!!! i havent even had it off road but once. and that was out in a feild at slow speeds and i only flexed it on a few ramps to loosen up the springs and break them in. i dont have the $ to get new springs...

yeah i put on the new bumpstop extentions. i have about half an inch of clearance between the rubber upper bumpstop on the frame and the new stop on the axle. it doesnt look right to me. let me know if it is ok? thanks

ok here goes 4" RC's and only about 1 inch between the springs and the bump stops. isthis right? i have to say after i retightened the springs {actualy loosened them and hit them up with locktite} the spring shacles looked a lil crooked . like they were cocked off to the side a lil. i dont know...
