I'm running the same 2.5 engine in my YJ..... and thinking about 33s and a 4" lift... so you lose 5th gear? so you're really cranking it on the freeway...? is it roadtrip-able in the slightest? I've got like 6-14 hour roadtrips in mind for the near future.....

I'm ordering the Besttop bikini top very soon, and it looks great. I don't really see a point to soft tops if you have one of these for a tiny fraction of the price... As far as I can tell the designs don't really vary too much, but mine will be coming with a screen separating the front seats...

A 2 inch lift will run 33"s without and spacers or fender trimming. Below is a chart of what fits and how well they fit... JP Magazine.

I've read several different opinions/"facts" on whether or not 31's will fit under a stock YJ... I've heard some people say they will but it rubs a bit....rubs too much for off-roading? Is there any way to fix the rubbing easily, like spacers?

Where do you put your hi-lift jack? Do you like where it is? One in particular catches my eye- it's behind the spare tire and at an angle or straight up and down.... what kind of mount do you get for that method? Very interested in different places you store the jack!

I'm looking at a 2002 TJ 4L that is parting out online for several different mods I am doing. Would it's throttle body work on a 4cyl or straight 6 1992 YJ? Either or because I have a 4, but I might be upgrading to straight 6. If not, what would be a good year to part out a throttle body?

Doesn't sound *quite* like the problem I had, but I'd check the fuel pump and/or filter, see that you're getting enough fuel through? I'm no expert, just guessing from my experiences.
