    Replace or rebuild?

Nothing is shared between the 4 cyl and the 6 cyl except a few sensors and tinker parts here and there. You can probably find another Wrangler at the price and value of labor it will cost to convert to 6 cyl. Better off with a rebuild, or if you plan on swapping, skip the 4.0 and go big

    MP3 players

I'm unfortunate enough to have Sprint as my cell phone service provider. They finally came out with a phone worth admitting I own. I use the LG Fusic, which is a very decent multimedia phone. It has an FM transmitter built into the phone which I use to transmit MP3s to my radio. I can also...

    Mr. Gore

However, the energy that his car uses to create the electrical energy is from the engine that runs off the product of the electric conversion. It uses FAR FAR less gasoline than a gas-only vehicle does. He has solved a lot. He is cutting the use of fossil fuels and replacing it with the use...

How hard is it to mount a 1" Body Lift?

That would be it. But be careful asking for the pitman arm. The junkyard thought I was asking for a CJ pitman arm (outside us jeepers, they don't know what a ZJ is). And when I asked for a Grand Cherokee pitman arm, I waited and waited, and then "Here you go sir, your Cherokee pitman arm"...

I NEED HELP! What lift to get?

If you are going with a 4" lift, you shouldn't be avoiding the SYE anyway. That's a pretty tough angle for that driveshaft. But of course, you're working with the 4 cyl drivetrain. You should be able to get away with a TC drop a lot easier than I could have. You have an extra 2 inches of...

How hard is it to mount a 1" Body Lift?

A 4" lift won't be much cheaper, if at all cheaper than a SOA. And depending on where you get parts, the 4" might even be more expensive. You will still need (or should have) the SYE and new shaft. You will still need to worry about the steering angle. You will still need to face brakeline...

    Parting out a 95 ZJ

He said he'd let the whole thing go, minus transfer case, driveshafts and aftermarket parts for $1000. But keep up the inquiries, I have to keep after him or he will let it rot.

    Electric supercharger

There ARE real electric superchargers that really DO work... But you're gonna pay a LOT more than 100 bucks, and its gonna be a hell of a lot more intricate than putting it in line with your intake.

    Electric supercharger

Bleh... The website says nothing and shows nothing about their product. There is no close-up shot, cut-away, or detailed product picture. There is no "how it works" section. It says it is "featured" in five magazines (crappy ones at that) but still doesn't say what is said about them. In my...

    Parting out a 95 ZJ

This past week, a good friend rolled his 95 5.2l ZJ. The only damage it took was in the upper rear body. Everything mechanical is still in great condition. He is keeping all of his aftermarket parts, the transfer case (converted to a 242 two years ago), and driveshafts. I believe everything...

    Snow plow on a Jeep???

I used to have a plow on my YJ. It worked great. I could plow places that large trucks couldn't handle getting into. I made a bit of money with it. It did take toll on my frame though, so I took it off. I've been trying to sell it for a couple years now

    Turbo 2.5L Wrangler?

Haha.. no... I didn't take my "read the details of the thread before you open your mouth" pill today... It wouldn't be worth stroking a 2.5, because you'd probably have to end up paying thousands of dollars to have a custom crank made.
