wow! sounds pretty bad, I think Im gonna have to take the engine apart eventualy.

hmmm. I rearranged some vaccume lines and that elliminated the oil in air filter prob. also I replaced the cv and the valve cover vent its the oilpan seal that keeps blowing. Not sure if too much crank case pressure will cause that or not. Let me know your thoughts.

Any body else want to weigh in on this?

Blue bell rocks, cant get it here in Ohio. I first met Blue Bell when I lived in Arkansas. Blue Bell is everything Ben & whats his name wish they could be. Any flavor of Blue bell will do but plain vanila works real nice for me.

I have a 86 cj 7 258 i6. I do have a good vent on top. That makes me question if it is a crank case pressure issue. Far as I know it isnt leaking at the rear. Any other thoughts? Oh and thanx for the quik reply.

Heres my question. I have had various oil leaks starting with the valve cover down to the oil pan. I put a nice new aluminum valve cover and gasket and a new rubber oil pan gasket. It seems the oil pan gasket is leaking after a coupla days. I suspect high crank case pressure is blowing them out...

One crack and I would be sooo puckered up . Probly couldnt drive a 10 penny nail up the ol' brown eye with a 10 pound sledge.

Im looking at getting rims for my 4 inch lifted Jeep cj. Heres where I need help. I am looking at putting 35X12.5 tires on some new rims, The local shop told me to go with 8 inch wide rims so as to not take up too much spacein the wheel well. I wander what the difference in appearence the 8 vs...

Got a new steering box old one was leaking real bad but did not fix the clunk. Redrooster is probly right about the bad bearing. thanx for the imput.

Got a question for everyone . I hear a loud clunk when steering at extreme angles. I also feel it in the floor board. I suspect its a steering box issue as it leaks badly. I also have had the front end appart and have replaced some bearings and bushings.And no the hubs arnt locked. Any ideas...

I think Thompson is a serious contender.Very worthy of consideration. I think he should wear well not a lot of skeletons in the closet like most the others.

Yeah Toledo is a Jeep town no doudt about it. Youd be suprized how few cjs are around here.

Used to live out side of Fayettvile Arkansas everybody waves down there. Currantly we live in toledo ohio we dont do waves just the middle finger.
