or is it welded.... I have a rear bumper off something on the front and just a piece of U channel on the back... I would like to either weld or bolt the front on the rear (hitch) and use a piece of U channel on front....

"spreaders" do they go length wise or across? what i was thinking of doing was.... I have this roll of black pleather(black plastic leather with a fabric mesh backing)... is it wide enuff to go across the whole jeep.... fold it in half with the fold over the cage.... stick a rope...

Just wondering if anyone has done this... Did it turn out good? Can you point me to the thread? I was thinking of using pleather doubled over and thin metal stock on either end and maybe each side....

i dont think it has a brake booster....is it like most and be right by the m/c.....there is a little hose coming up from down below...it ends right by m/c with a bolt stuck in the hose.... it looks like i have a bunch of room on the wheel well....

I just picked up my new(to me) 76' CJ5 with a AMC 304 and 3 speed transmission....all in all its in great shape.... I have a pretty big dent on the hood...and need to throw a radio in it.... but have a few question to see it this is normal or what... first the brakes pretty much...
