most Jeeps run fine stock, unless you want to do some deep water crossing or heavy rock crawling which in that case, trade your jeep in on a hummer.

for the year of your Tj you most likely have the 3.73. If you have a 4 Cly like I do, you will affect the wheeling capabilities severely. I wouldn't go any bigger then a 31" tire. Just my .02

The Cj 6 body length was 101" and I think the five was 81" a whole 20" longer. You should see a big difference in the length between the two and a 5 wouldn't fit cause of the frame and wheel location.
