    Need fuel gauge help

So typical. Owned over 10 jeeps in my life and I think 2 have worked when I got them. Like Steelheadz said Process of elimination. Sounds like your getting power, are you hooked to (12volt switched) and all grounds are correct? Got to be one of the two. Good luck.

Well done. Need to update some pics. Nice to have a jeep project go smooth. Seems like so many of them end up taking twice as long as they should.

Hi. Sounds like something sure is off here. Are you much of an off roader? I only ask cause you may have tweaked something like the rear drive shaft. Sounds like u joints but already replaced you said. Common to get those vibrations when accelerating with bad u joints or bent drive shaft. This...

Jeep wont start in cold at all

Well the old timer pilot's would drain the oil and boil over a fire then pour back inn and the engine would be happy. I wouldn't suggest this method but if you have access to put a heater under your jeep for awhile im sure this would help. Good luck!

    cj steering!

Steering really shouldn't be that difficult. Agr makes some nice steering box's and pumps that allows for quicker turning. If you do have power steering a smaller steering wheel I like better. Tilt wheel for different wheel positioning, maybe something also you could try and see if it feels any...

    shackle flip

Hi Timmy, I built my own shackle reverse on my 73cj5 and love it. I used CJ7 Springs /w spring under. I haven't had any wheel hop to speak of. On road the jeep handles much much better! I moved my hole front axle about 4" forward from what it used to be, which takes a lot of the weight off...

    Paniless wiring

I did a painless harness in my cj5 and i'm so glad I did. The old harness was scary. Smoke rolling out from under the dash is not a good sign. A great upgrade!

    Money Pit

Multi meter is a good idea. Something is definitely off there. Another easy quick check is to take the key out of your ignition and remove the positive post and touch it back on the pos and see if you get a spark. If your getting one that something is drawing is still drawing current. You...

    cj steering!

Sweetpeet, Do you have manual steering? 74cj5 jeeps from the factory came with manual steering. If you running bigger tires you should consider upgrading to power steering. This would make a huge difference and almost a must if your doing much off roading with it. I can't believe I ran 36"...
