No I'm in Texas It's a 87 4.2 I'm gonna try the coil and cap next maybe that's what it is thanks

Changed carb, full pump, plugs! And still will run for a while then just like to turn the key off it dies and has hell starting back. I don't no what to do now but maybe start looking for a electrical problem I no its not running out of gas cause it has plenty in the carb when it dies. Any ideas?

We hell I just bought a new webber and put it on wished I would of known about it earlier thanks anyway

No we are pretty laid back here I have ordered a new weber and will see what that does I got it running but it dies on me going down the road like its running out of fuel but will restart after a minute or two and run for a whole then does the same thing. Kinda like the old cars we used to have...

What happen to motor and do you think the transmission is in good shape? What about the 4 wheel drive tires etc... I would be interested in it I think

Ya I do I put a fuel regulator on and set it at 4 and it seems to be working great now it has a weber on it thanks

87 jeep 4.2 Any ideas on what's going on with this? My jeep would run great and then die like it was running out of gas. Let it set for a few minutes and it would start and might not do it again for miles or might do it in a few 100 feet. I changed the fuel pump I put a electric pump on it now...
