    Top bolts no issue; placement of shock to mount on rear axle is PITA. The rubber washer inside the metal insert will not fit inside the mounting bracket! Any ideas?

    just got back to forum, temp never goes over 210 deg. Just moves up and down between 210 and 190 as you drive about...was thinking sticking thermostat or sending unit-just not sure...

    After thermostat opens up and temp then drops to normal operating temp, the temp gauge will fluctuate to 210 and then drop to 190 or so...any ideas?

    Have lubed rear slip joint on Jeep TJ 2.5. Looks as though there is a slip joint up front. Should it be greased as well?

    My TJ is stock except for the 235/75x15 tires. Has 162,000 miles. The height at rear bumper is 16"; front bumper measures 18.5" from ground. Normal or in need of new coils, etc.

    My 2" receiver hitch is simply mounted onto and below rear bumper. Have purchased a small utility trailer to tow. Thinking of replacing hitch with one mounted to frame instead of bumper. Good idea or not necessary. Will not. be hauling more than 500 lbs...

    Besides a TJ I own a 1963 VW Bug. I have had the same Sears Die Hard in Buggy for nearly ten years. And, I run only a generator! Granted there isn't much electrical drain in a '63 Bug, but give it up for the Die Hard!

    Tardy getting back. Turns out problem was high spots on shoes. Sanded down shoes as well as inside of drums lightly. Problem solved.

    Have replaced rear shoes, drums and cylinders on my 2000 TJ. No drag on drums, e- brake backed off, but drums still get Hot after short drive. Any ideas?
