my cherokee's brake don't brake very well when you first start to drive it. After you drive it a while they work a little better but still not great. the calapers and brake pads are fine. it's like the brake pedal comes to a stop point but the brakes just don't seem to react. it's stops...

does anybody know where to get parts for a 74 cj5 that won't cost an arm and a leg. I can find all kinds of stuff for 75 and up but my 74 is hard to shop for. $100 for one leaf spring seems very expensive to me. not to mention everthing else that is higher than that. it's hard to come by parts...

I've got a ram air on it already and it gives a big difference and it makes that same noise as you were talking about. It's a k&n set up from rusty's offroad or at least that's what the sticker says it was on there when I got it. any other mods that make a really noticeable difference.

So it should work? I had never seen a hard top for my CJ5. I thought it was cool to find one. My soft top is in bad shape. A new one is $300-$400 this guy wants only $250 for the hard top and doors in fair condition.
